By Sean O’Connell Hollywoodnews.com: Athletes who win the big game regularly turn to the camera and tell America, “I’m going to Disney World.” As it turns out, “American Idol” winners are no different. After prevailing over Lauren Alaina in the “Idol” season finale, Scotty McCreery went to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida where he was mobbed by “Idol” fans. McCreery, according to the Daily Mail, performed his hit single “I Love You This Big” in front of the theme park’s “American Idol” exhibit … pretty ironic. He also participated in Memorial Day celebrations at the park. The paper, which has some excellent photographs from the Disney visit, said McCreery was “rushed off to board a plane to New York” after singing.
